The Failed Political Prosecution of Zimmerman

There never was a good case against George Zimmerman, which is why Sanford police never even arrested him in the first place. Local and State police won't prosecute cases where they don't have a reasonable chance of winning. The local police alone knew the facts of the case early on and decided that there was no case. The case is sad, but it is now proven in court that there was no crime; and this despite the fact that the court resembled more of a Kangaroo court.

This whole episode is a "political" prosecution. The trial was precipitated only because many discredited black leaders (are there any that aren't discredited??), including Obama, whipped up protests and racial resentment and ALL jumped to the WRONG conclusions---before hearing the facts. That's called mob justice, which isn't justice at all.

Then the liberal media jumped in (incorrectly). Then celebrities jumped in (incorrectly). Most black people jumped in (incorrectly). These people never get it.

Meanwhile, 67 people were shot and 12 killed by gun violence over the long 4th of July weekend (Wed to Sun) in Chicago alone. And BJS statistics say that, on average, at least 57% of those killings are committed by black men and that over 90% of those committed by blacks are black-on-black murders. Where's the outrage about that??

If black folks are tired of being profiled, then they need to stop committing crimes at rates up to 7 times the rate of whites!  And if you don't want others to assume that you're a criminal, don't dress like a thug by wearing a hoodie!

Obama really' stepped into it' AGAIN, making the wrong choice by sympathizing too strongly with Trayvon before knowing the facts of the case. He stepped in 'it' in a knee-jerk reaction just like he did in the case of the Cambridge police officer and Obama's professor friend Henry Gates. Obama was wrong then and he's wrong now.  Is he ever right? Answer: not often.

Zimmerman was a neighborhood watch leader because that gated townhouse community already had a big crime problem--as in nearly one crime per day. If that community was like most communities in this country, that criminal activity was most likely committed by black men WAY out of proportion to their share of the population.

Yeah, Zimmerman followed Trayvon around the apartment complex against the advice of the Sanford police. That was good advice.  But surveillance was his job. Trayvon could have just gone into his apartment and ignored 'fat boy' Zimmerman.  Following someone is not a crime.  Even a verbal confrontation didn't have to result in a fist fight--but it clearly did.  Do you really think 5'7" Zimmerman threw the first punch against 5'11" Martin??

I will say that there needs to be a law that security guards or neighborhood watch patrols must wear a uniform and wear their guns in holsters outside of their bodies.

There were no wounds on Trayvon's body except abrasions on his fists from pounding Zimmerman's face.  Meanwhile, Zimmerman's head was bloody both in front and back.  Guess who was the aggressor?  Trayvon was hardly unarmed given his 'ground and pound' Marshall Arts-style 'pounding.'  So much for the "innocent little unarmed child" narrative.

Then comes the objective verdict by 6 responsible women after millions of dollars spent by the State in a politically motivated trial, in a kangaroo court, and in the court of public opinion. I'm confident those 6 women jurors reached the right decision despite all of that.   Let's put it this way, reasonable doubts abounded.

Here are a bunch of mainstream media headlines concerning the Zimmerman case and subsequent verdict:
  • 'System has failed': Crowds react to Zimmerman verdict
  • Black leaders: Zimmerman verdict is 'old South justice'
  • Al Sharpton: Zimmerman verdict "an atrosity"  [yeah, right.  Objective evidence disrupting your biased narrative is a bitch Al]

Twitter reactions from our bullshit and nearly unanimously idiotic "celebrities" from USA Today

  • Jaleel White: "I can't ..." wrote the star, adding a sad emoticon.
  • Olivia Wilde: "I feel sick." She then directed a tweet at Ann Coulter, who tweeted "Hallelujah!" at the verdict. ".@AnnCoulter You are a hateful wench," wrote Wilde.

  • Sophia Bush: "The wind is more than knocked out of me... My heart aches for this boy's family. Justice System? I don't think so. #justicefortrayvon"
  • Rihanna: "This is the saddest news ever!!! #whatsjustice #pray4theMartinFamily"

  • Josh Groban: "Oh no. Seriously? Crap."
  • Shaquille O'Neil: "George Zimmerman not guilty can u believe that. Wow"
  • Miley Cyrus tweeted twice. "No justice. No peace," she wrote, followed by: "The world is a scary place."
